Partmaster Save Changes - apexmachine - 04-04-2013
I am having issues with saving certain things in partmaster. If I make a change to the description, customer, notes, or internal notes then I have to close partmaster to get it to save.
For example I corrected a description for a partmaster and clicked save. Then I did a search for another partmaster. The computer asked if I would like to save and I said yes. Then the computer let me finish my search and move on to the other partmaster. When I went back to the original partmaster, the change had not been saved.
Is there anyway to fix this so I don't have to open and close partmaster every time I make a change?

You are right. I would not have believed it. Microsoft has evidently completely changed what one of their commands means. It will actually undo changes which have been saved.
I am working on a fix. In the meantime as a workaround you do not have to actually close the Partmaster, simply user the arrows at the bottom to scroll to another record before doing a search.
