Is it possible to allow the use of * in PO Lookups? People are inconsistent when they enter PO information, so I am not always sure if people entered 1.00x3.00 or 1.0 x 3.0 etc. The use of * would make it much simpler.

The option for * is built in:

If you selelct Whole field no * is used.
Beginning of field xx*
Any part of field *xx*
